Given its size—133 employees in four locations—recruiting is always an ongoing process at Team Solutions Dental Lab. Using a variety of strategies, including online job board postings, word of mouth and more, the lab usually has a pool of applicants for open positions. Although it’s a job seeker’s market right now, Melissa Parziale, Human Resources Director of the Sanford, FL, lab, follows a systematic approach to ensure the lab is selecting the right person for the right job.
“Our screening process may differ slightly depending on whether we’re interviewing experienced or inexperienced technicians but the most important thing to us is finding a strong cultural fit,” she says. Here, she offers a look inside the approach.
