Our industry has been in a personnel crisis for decades and the pandemic has only made finding skilled labor even more challenging. As a result, nearly half of our 2022 Wage Survey respondents are hiring inexperienced workers to fill open positions in their laboratories and pulling out all the stops when it comes to on-the-job training.
