'The Heart and Soul of the Lab is Technology'

In 2017, after growing from a four-person analog lab to an 18-person digital lab in less than a decade (visit LMTmag.com/concordDL to read the coverage in LMT’s March 2019 issue), it was time for Concord Dental Laboratory to find a new, more spacious location.
Luckily, CEO Mike Farago didn’t have to look far; the space right next door to its existing spot in a Westford, MA, business park became available, providing twice as much space and a completely blank canvas for his plans. While the street address may have remained the same, the new 6,000-square-foot laboratory was built with an entirely different kind of operation in mind. “Our old lab was designed for bench technicians,” says Farago. “But now the heart and soul of the lab is technology.”
