Plenty of Room for Elbows & Education

A few years after Bobby Williams, Owner, Synergy Ceramics Dental Studio, moved into his new, custom-built home in McKinney, TX, he grew tired of his one-hour, round-trip commute to his lab. So he was thrilled when a new business park opened only five minutes from his house; it offered him the large, industrial-style space he desired.
He purchased an end unit and the one next door, working with the building’s architect to combine them into 2,500 square feet, a large space for two ceramists and a model room technician, he admits.
“I’ve always hated when labs have technicians elbow to elbow; here we have lots of room to breathe,” says Williams. An added bonus: the extra square footage meant enough room to begin holding CE courses, an exciting opportunity for Williams and fellow technician, renowned ceramist Myung Joo Shin, who have been KOLs for multiple manufacturers.
