I was a veteran technician with a CDT and 18 years of analog experience under my belt when I joined CAP to manage its milling center in 2013. Wow, what a career shift; the new digital adventure was a little scary!
After all those years of perfecting my skills and feeling pride in being a well-rounded technician, along came CAD/CAM technology and zirconia. Why would I want to work with this high- value, chalky material? Layering porcelain was the only way to go for a lifelike restoration.
