Lab’s One-Day Chairside Fabrication Service Transforms Patient’s Smile

When a young man visited Dr. James Meyer’s practice in Greenville, SC, seeking a straight, white smile, he came to the right place: Dr. Meyer and I collaborate on multiple smile transformations each year. This was one of my favorite cases of 2025 because it was both challenging and rewarding, and we completed it in just one day.


To correct the patient’s smile and maintain the posterior teeth for a good bite, we decided to fabricate 18 individual crowns for teeth #4-13 on the upper and #21-28 on the lower.


Dr. Meyer took an intraoral scan using his CEREC Primescan and I created several mockups using inLab software and sent screenshots to show the patient what could be achieved. Once the patient and Dr. Meyer approved one of the proposed designs,...
