Galaxy Dental Lab: A High-Tech Lab on a 30-Acre Farm

For Jay and Katrina Emirzian, husband-and-wife veteran technicians and Owners of Galaxy Dental Lab in Anderson, SC, a typical workday isn’t quite so typical. In addition to running a C&B laboratory, they own a 30-acre farm. Their day is a patchwork of tasks that includes feeding nearly 40 animals, tending to pastures and beekeeping. Their skills complement each other; while Katrina is the CAD/CAM designer and office manager, Jay spends his time making the virtual into the physical.

The Emirzians bought the property about eight years ago when they relocated from Massachusetts. In addition to the land and the family’s home, the property included a detached garage with an unfinished second floor ideal for the laboratory.
