Bill Mullahy: 'Everybody's Go-To Man'

One of a kind isn’t much of a poker hand but if you have such an individual as your mentor, you’re truly fortunate. My mentor was Bill Mullahy, (pictured at left) Founder of National Dentex, who graduated from Boston College, had an MBA from Harvard and was everybody’s go-to man.

Bill came from outside the dental business, but he was quick to comprehend what made it tick. He immediately knew it was a people business. He was fast to learn everybody’s name in each of our labs and, when visiting, he would first walk around and greet each individual, remembering something about him from his previous trip.
