Vincent Alleluia: Educator, Mentor, Icon

In April, the dental laboratory community lost industry icon and renowned educator Vincent Alleluia—affectionately known as Vinny or Vito—who passed away at the age of 92.
His professional experience was vast: after training in the U.S. Navy, he worked for 20 years as a technical specialist for several dental manufacturers and owned three dental laboratories in the New York-metropolitan area. He also studied and worked alongside several well-known dentists, including Drs. Ernest Granger, Charles Stuart, Frank Celenza, Ira Zinner and Joseph Massad under whom he learned the principles of gnathology and full-mouth reconstruction, subjects that were the focus of his career.
