Tricks from the Dentsply Sirona Lab Marketing Summit: Beating the Facebook Algorithm

“Sixty-nine percent of Americans are on Facebook and 400 new users sign up every minute. Facebook is where you need to be,” said Justin Zegar, Dentsply Sirona Lab Product Marketing Manager during his lecture at this year’s Dentsply Sirona Lab Marketing Summit, held September 19-20 in Charlotte, NC.
Zegar’s lecture focused on Facebook’s algorithm, which prioritizes friends and family content over business page posts, meaning it’s harder and harder to get your posts seen by your followers. Increasing the number of times a follower likes, shares or comments on your posts and being careful about what and when you post can help to “beat” the algorithm to increase your visibility.
