The myriad human resources apps available today enable lab owners to manage payroll, paid time off (PTO), benefits and personnel and, when accessed on mobile devices, offer on-the-go convenience and efficiency for the entire staff. Here are four ways lab operators are using apps to automate their HR processes:

1. Streamline communication: When Perfect Finish Ortho Lab moved to its new facility and quadrupled its space, the 23-employee team was feeling disconnected and communication was noticeably more challenging.
