Strategy: Using Multi-Material Printing

My company, Implant Concierge, offers virtual treatment planning services and guided surgery solutions to both labs and dentists. We have a dynamic portal that manages digital workflows for all major implant systems and our services also include printing surgical guides, provisionals and models.
Since we opened eight years ago, we’ve always used Stratasys printers but the latest model, the J5, is a game changer. It has an extremely large build plate—we can print about 40 surgical guides or models at once—and can print multiple materials simultaneously. For example, we can print any combination of models, tissue moulages and surgical guides.
We can also print sequential surgical guides; each one is labeled with indicator markers and printed in different colors or resin so the dentist can verify he’s using the right prosthesis in the right order.
