Sharing, Camaraderie in High Gear at 2017 DTG Symposium

"We encourage you to share everything you have: post, comment, encourage. If you don’t get back 10 times what you put in, this group is failing,” said Dental Technician Guild (DTG) Founder Von Grow, in his presentation to attendees at the fourth annual DTG Symposium in August in Provo, UT.
And share they did. In a group known for its camaraderie and family-like bonds, attendees from across the world swapped technical tips, case studies and business advice over three days of hands-on demos, in-depth lectures and casual networking opportunities.
They also learned about the latest DTG news, including that the Damaged Goods Unite!/DTG affiliate page now has over 5,700 participants from 50 countries and about 35% of those joining the online group are dentists. In addition, citing a shrinking number of formal educational programs for technicians, DTG is planning to launch a two-year accreditation program.
