Digital technology continues to make inroads in removable prosthetic laboratories and departments as the adoption rates of digital design and fabrication methods rise.
According to comparisons of LMT’s 2024 Removable Prosthetics Survey and past surveys:
- The percentage of labs offering digitally fabricated complete dentures has almost doubled—from 18% to 34%—in the past four years.
- The percentage of complete denture caseloads fabricated using digital technology has jumped from 5% to 11% just since 2022.
