We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: removable prosthetic labs and departments are thriving, thanks largely to the aging baby boomer population, limited number of skilled technicians and patient demand for economical restorations. In fact, about 80% of respondents to LMT’s 2022 Removable Prosthetic Survey rate their current complete denture and partial denture businesses as “good” or “booming” and more than 50% say business has improved in the past five years.
