Recommitting to Core Values is the Right Way to Go

In early 2014, three of our top accounts purchased chairside mills. This was a surprise to us because they were all iTero users; in fact, we actually sold two of those offices their scanners and the third had one through our partnership program, where we loaned the scanner in exchange for a certain volume of work.
By the spring of that year, we began to see our posterior crown volume diminishing quickly. We chased those for a time by offering lower-cost crowns, even introducing our Virtue product line to meet the demand for economical restorative options. However, we were growing tired of the how-low-can-you-go mentality; it went against our original values of doing the best dentistry possible.
