Nobel Biocare Symposium Unveils Faster, Easier, More Esthetic Implant Solutions

“We are dealing with a completely unpenetrated market when it comes to implants,” said Hans Geiselhöringer, President of Nobel Biocare, at the company’s 2016 Global Symposium held June 23-25 in New York City. “There are 3.6 billion people missing teeth and just 10 million being treated with implants annually. To that end, the sold-out Symposium—which hosted over 2,500 attendees from 58 countries—showcased the role that digital technology plays in increasing the efficiency and accuracy of diagnostics, treatment planning and guided surgery. The company made two key announcements affecting laboratories:
