For the first time in its history, a former customer is at the helm of Nobel Biocare: In January, Hans Geiselhöringer—who first started his career in dentistry as a dental technician and lab owner—was named President of the company.
After gaining extensive experience as an advisor, educator and researcher, Geiselhöringer became a Global Speaker for Nobel Biocare in 2004. He officially joined the company in 2008 as Head of the NobelProcera business unit and has held many roles since then, including Executive VP of Global Marketing and Products, and Executive VP of Global Research, Products and Development.
Geiselhöringer says his technician and lab owner background helped him develop a valuable understanding of customer needs. Together with wider industry and management experience, this paved the way to his current role as head of one of the largest dental implant and solution providers.
