Demystifying Facebook: Little Known Post Types

When you post from your lab's Facebook page, chances are it's usually just a photo or text. But have you ever noticed the other things you can post?


Facebook gives you 9 post options you can do right from your profile (8 of which are free!). I'll walk you through what all of these options mean.


Facebook Post Types



1) Share a photo or video: This is the most common Facebook post type, but there is more than one option.


Facebook Photo/Video


The first option "Upload Photos/Video" is where you would upload photos of a video with your post.


Next you can "Create Photo Album" if you have more than one photo that you want to group together. Photos from staff outings or events, for example,...
