In spite of losing the camaraderie of in-person interaction, laboratory owners who have been heavily invested in offering continuing education to their dentist-clients have found creative ways to go virtual and sponsor “live” and engaging programs while still keeping themselves and their clients safe. Here are three examples.
1. Study Clubs
“Continuing education has been incredibly powerful and I’ve developed the best and most lasting relationships with clients because of the education I offer,” says Scott Emett, Manager, Digital Concepts, St. George, UT, who has directed a study club for dentists and another for hygienists for the last 10 years.
