2013 FDLT Pillar Scholarship Winners Recognized

The Foundation for Dental Laboratory Technology (The Foundation or FDLT), announced the nine winners of the 2013 Pillar Scholarship. The purpose of The Foundation is to advance the profession of dental laboratory technology by developing educational curriculum and programs that will be relevant and accessible to dental technicians and other members of the dental team. The Foundation is pleased to congratulate the following recipients:
Angela Askalsky, Trumbull, CT; Daniel Silva, Matthews, NC; Enesa Hadzijusufovic, Palm Harbor, FL; Jennifer Krueger, Brownsville, MN; Jennifer Nguyen, Portland, OR; Katrina Lopez, Burbank CA; Kyle Harrison, Kerrville, TX; Loretta Molina, Albuquerque, NM; and Nicole Borroel, Craig, CO.
The scholarship is awarded based on education, certification, employment, and volunteer work. Dental technicians can apply to obtain their Certified Dental Technician (CDT) certification and CDTs can apply to gain additional specialties through the scholarship.
