2013 brings with it lots of changes including implementation of the new medical device excise tax. In the first part of this course, Henry Martin, CDT; Laura Sheppard, CDT; and Bennett Napier, CAE; discuss the best practices in terms of compliance for this new federal tax; the new compliance requirements for reporting gifts of over $10 value to dental clients; and additional requirements from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on registration, transparency and implant abutment production. The second half of the course focuses on digital workforce performance metrics, materials and equipment trends with at least a half-an-hour open forum question and answer session.
