State of the Implant Market: Digital Momentum, Growing Demand

Implants continue to dominate as one of the most dynamic growth areas in the lab. Optimism about this market runs high, with workloads climbing at the majority of laboratories: nearly two-thirds report an increase in implant cases over the past three years, according to LMT’s 2025 Implant Survey (see How Laboratories’ Implant Business Has Changed Since 2022 below).


“We’ve seen lots of growth. Patients are becoming increasingly aware of implants as a long-term solution and advances in technology and materials have made implants an option for more of them,” says Brian Estrada, Manager, Forever Bright Dental, Pensacola, FL. “At the same time, digital technology has allowed us to streamline our implant workflows and reduce remakes and production time.”
