Removable Prosthetics in High Demand

"There is huge potential in the removable market. We’re in demand!” says Nick Diacoloukas, Owner, Friendship Dental Lab, in Baltimore, MD. He’s among the 83% of respondents to LMT’s 2017 Removable Prosthetic Survey who rate the current state of their removable business as “good” or “booming.” Of that percentage, 57% say business has improved in the past three years (see below for survey demographics). 

In particular, many survey participants are seeing an uptick in their immediate denture, implant-supported overdenture and partial denture—especially flexible—caseloads. “We’re offering more and more of the clear, esthetic appliances that are inundating the market.
