Nobel Biocare® Introduces Host of Updates, 3Shape™ Partnership

At LAB DAY, Nobel Biocare presented its latest innovations in dental implant-based CAD/CAM solutions, including:



  • NobelProcera® Abutments, now available on Biomet 3i, Camlog and Zimmer implant platforms (in addition to Straumann, Astra Tech and Thommen).


  • NobelProcera users can expand their business with the new in-lab scanning of NobelProcera Implant Bar Overdenture for Straumann implant platforms. These bars have been tested with a new 3D fit assessment to verify the precision of fit, reduce mechanical complications and ensure longevity.


  • Available later this year, the new NobelProcera 2G Scanner has a similar look and feel to the original with new elements including advanced automation features designed to increase productivity. Existing users of the NobelProcera Scanner will be able to upgrade their current scanner to the new 2G version for a modest fee.
