Lab and Dentist Surveys Convey Confidence

[June 3] Although all states were open for elective procedures with varying restrictions as of Monday, it’s too soon to report on the status of business so let’s take a look at where things stood last week based on LMT’s latest COVID-19 Impact Survey:




One-third of laboratory owners/managers who laid off/furloughed employees plan to bring them all back by the end of June and a quarter of them expect to do so by the fall. However, 29% don’t know when they’ll be able to be fully staffed.
 
Nationwide, respondents’ workloads last month were down an average of 72% compared to May 2019....
