How to Use AutoDesign, An AI-Powered CAD Solution
Posted Jul 10, 2023 in Technical
H3D, which has been offering AI CAD technology to the hearing aid industry since 2020, is now offering AutoDesign, an AI-driven design service for laboratories. “AutoDesign is purpose-built for labs, not clinics. It’s an industrial solution, and with that comes the highest quality standards, powerful customizability and fastest speeds,” says Iain Mcleod, CEO.
Using AutoDesign requires three steps:
- Upload a scanned model or IO scan to H3D’s website. Users have the option of customizing their CAD settings with regard to thickness, undercuts and offsets. Preferences can also be saved in templates for future use.
- Click the “Automate Design” button.
- Review the CAD design and, if it’s acceptable, download it. Users only pay for the designs they download. Multiple cases can be uploaded and processed simultaneously and each batch is processed in less than five minutes.
