How I Got My Work Featured on National TV

I first met dentist-to-the-stars Dr. Bill Dorfman—who’s a frequent guest on shows like The Doctors, Dr. Phil and Steve Harvey—10 years ago at the CDA meeting where I was showcasing the latest partial denture design I co-created. Dr. Dorfman saw the design and was instantly intrigued because it was a great solution for a difficult case he was working on. The design, called the Advantalock system, is a two-piece partial; one part is a Hader bar and the second part snaps on top and engages the intercut. It’s ideal for patients who aren’t candidates for implants.

I fabricated the partial denture for Dr. Dorfman’s patient and now handle most of his removable prosthetic work, including many cases featured on televised dental makeover shows.
