German Technicians Sweep Top Prizes in the Candulor KunstZahnWerk Competition

Celebrating the 10th anniversary of its International KunstZahnWerk, Candulor challenged technicians to demonstrate their removable prosthetic skills by fabricating a combination case consisting of a mucosa-supported mandibular denture and an implant-supported restoration for the maxilla; participants could choose their preferred setup technique. 

Forty-two participants entered the competition, held in cooperation with Camlog. An international jury of experts assessed the prostheses for function, esthetics, overall craftsmanship as well as the documentation. All of the entries were on display at Candulor’s IDS booth and the winners were announced at the show:

• First place went to Christian Geretschläger from Breitenberg, Germany, who received €1,500 as well as the Golden Candulor Award.
