Drake Precision Dental Lab Goes Above and Beyond

Last September, Mark Anderson’s lab, Image Dental Arts, Asheville, NC, sustained catastrophic damage as a result of Hurricane Helene. The lab’s first floor was flooded with 11 feet of water, area roads were shut down and there was no water and power for weeks. A complete gut job was required and Anderson didn’t know how he’d stay in business. But then he got a phone call that changed everything.

Although he didn’t know him personally, Bob Savage, CEO & President of Drake Precision Dental Lab in Charlotte, NC, had heard about Anderson’s plight and knew he had to do something. He offered Anderson a solution: come work at Drake’s 30,000-square-foot facility—two-and-a-half hours from Asheville—while Image was rebuilt.
