Delcam's Latest DentMILL Software Debuts at LAB DAY

DentMILL now features a clearer interface, making it easier to learn and use.

In Chicago, Delcam demonstrated its latest DentMILL software for milling implant restorations. Software enhancements include:



  • Improved integration with the DentCAD design software, including a new interface that features bolder and clearer icons and a reduced number of toolbars to allow maximum screen space.


  • Improved nesting allows more efficient use of materials. For instance, restorations are oriented in the optimum alignment so the most cost-effective part of the block can be used.


  • The milling templates have been extended to a wider range of materials, including titanium, cobalt-chrome and glass ceramics.


  • New strategies offer smoother machining to give the best possible surface finish.


  • Faster calculation times thanks to new background-processing capabilities. For instance, toolpath calculations can be started on the first items added to the block while the remaining restorations are still being positioned.
