Amann Girrbach Introduces New Milling Machine, Scanner, Materials and Furnace

Amann Girrbach's new Motion 2 milling machine offers expanded material capabilities including VITABLOCS® Mark II and TriLuxe forte glass ceramic blanks from VITA.

Crowds gathered in Amann Girrbach's AGA Lounge to test drive and learn about the company's new digital equipment and materials:


The new Ceramill Motion 2 milling machine combines the 5-axis milling technique with the wet-grinding technique in a compact machine. Thanks to the hybrid design, the machine can be used as a purely dry or wet system. Offering a broad range of indications—including full contour crowns and bridges, inlays, onlays, veneers, abutments, zirconia frameworks and full arch restorations—the Motion 2 has a modular platform that's easily upgradeable for future materials and indications.
