Julien Bory Takes Top Prize in Master Cup 2018

In its Master Cup 2018 competition, Panthera Dental challenged participants to fabricate a fixed case with a Montreal bar for the maxilla and a milled bar for the mandible. Detailed documentation of the fabrication process and case were also required. 


Open to dental technicians, denturists and dentists worldwide, over 60 people sought the opportunity to compete. Panthera Dental narrowed down the field to 10 final participants, hailing from the U.S., U.K., France and Canada. 


Upon receiving the entries, an independent jury of five prosthetic experts and practitioners evaluat-ed the cases and selected the top three winners. Taking first prize was Julien Bory, dd, Owner of Ivoire Santé Dentaire, Longueuil, Canada; in second place was Jeffrey Dugré, CDT, Laboratoire Dentaire 3R, Trois-Rivières, Quebec; and Thibault Desormeaux, CAP Laboratoire, Prosud, France, took third prize.
