Stratasys Showcases Multi-Material 3D Printer, New Material and PoP Technology

Stratasys’ biggest news was its new efficiency-boosting printer, the Objet260 Dental 3D. Based on the company’s PolyJet triple-jetting technology, the unit can print three different materials on a single tray, including surgical guides, models and other appliances.
The unit can print MED620, an A2-color, biocompatible material used for models and try-ins; MED610, a transparent biocompatible material used for surgical guides and RPDs; MED670/MED690 materials for dental and orthodontic models; VeroWhite Plus, a white material for models; and Tango Plus, a flexible material for printing gingival masks.
The company also launched MEDFLX62, a flexible biocompatible material that allows labs with PolyJet multi-material printers to custom mix flexible and rigid biocompatible materials together for short-term, intraoral, direct-print applications, such as indirect bonding trays. The material...
