Nobel Biocare Launches Scanner and Software, Presents Battle of the Bars

In its ballroom, Nobel Biocare showcased its expanded CAD/CAM offerings, designed to enhance flexibility and connectivity between treatment partners. The new products—made possible through a close partnership with KaVo first announced at the IDS 2017—include:
KaVo LS 3 desktop scanner. Accurate to 4 microns (according to ISO 12836), it scans a complete jaw in 33 seconds, and single teeth and three-unit bridges in 36 seconds. Its optical system captures the fine textures and colors of the model for true visualization, and scans can be managed using the intuitive 5-inch touchscreen. It has a spacious, open design that provides easy access to the case as well as the ability to mount a full articulator.
