"We have a monthly budget planning meeting where we sit down with our accountant, go over our numbers and see where we can cut costs or improve performance. For instance, because we were spending so much on zirconia staining liquids, we decided to switch to pre-shaded zirconia blocks. The pre-shaded blocks are slightly more expensive than the non-shaded but when we buy in bulk there’s little to no difference in price, and cutting the liquids out alone has saved us thousands annually. It has also improved our turnaround time because we have more accurate shades, less labor and fewer remakes."
