Schnabel’s interest in dental technology began as he assisted his father, Douglas Schnabel, a Certified Dental Technician in their family dental laboratory. Craig received his Associate Degree in Dental Technology from Ferris State University and started his own career as an apprentice ceramist at a highly-respected crown and bridge laboratory in Troy, Michigan. He became a certified dental technician while rapidly advancing to head ceramist and then manager of that laboratory. Schnabel soon had an opportunity to buy Modern Dental Laboratory and implement its conversion into a lean, efficient, state-of-the-art facility. His continued pursuit of excellence led him to seek out the most challenging national seminars and ultimately to establish Glen Douglas Studio, an innovative customer-focused laboratory designed to meet the challenges of today’s cosmetic dental revolution. His extensive educational and professional experience make Schnabel one of the country’s top technicians.
