Implants: The Pink and White

Note: This event ended in 2014.

Hands-On Course Description:

Implants are not only the fastest growing segment in dentistry they are also the least price sensitive and most immune to off-shore competitors. In fact, many dental laboratories continue to see robust demand for implant-supported restorations and many also believe that a labs ability to successfully manufacture them is what will separate them from their competitors in the future. To obtain a predictable and successful treatment with implant-retained restorations, functional and aesthetic considerations need to be evaluated. Each implant case presents different options and components, yet all have the same functional purpose. Having the ability to diagnose your casework and understand all options and limitations with implant design is crucial. This course will focus on implant options for a multitude of cases and your ability to choose the proper restorative option. Several options including screw retained, cement able or hybrid choices will be discussed as the use of the frame design and layering pink ceramic materials have become a standard.

Each day will begin with a short lecture, followed by a hands-on demo by Peter.
