Implant Dentistry in the Digital World - Working and Succeeding Together

Participants will be introduced to the concept of guided surgery and how this can be managed in an everyday practice environment to improve predictability and the likelihood of acceptable outcomes. The hands-on component of this course will encourage participants to utilize the software for the planning of implant placements for treatment with guided surgery.

The crown-down philosophy of implant restorative dentistry will be reviewed. The restorative program will focus on workflow, digital design and manufacturing options inclusive of dental materials. The hands-on restorative exercises will include digital impression taking, the management of digital data, and the transfer of digital dentistry to the lab. The technician will review CADCAM restorations, from customized abutments through a digital workflow to single tooth and full-arch rehabilitations.
