The following one-hour sessions are held simultaneously on the hour beginning at 9:00am. The ballroom also includes a Straumann CARES Digital World Center for self-guided demonstrations of surgical planning software and template fabrication, advanced CAD/CAM prosthetics with the CARES Scan CS2 in-lab scanner and CARES Visual Software.
Digital Impressions for Precise CAD/CAM Restorations: Technicians can import a Cadent iTero® digital impression file to Straumann software and immediately design custom abutments, copings, frameworks, inlays, onlays and veneers—there's no need to wait for the impression or opposing model. Grow your laboratory business through collaboration with dentists using the Straumann® Scanbody chairside to provide them with custom abutments through Straumann CARES Digital Solutions.
Design Beautiful Smiles: Designing beautiful esthetics requires skill, sensitive technique and precise material application to make the restoration indistinguishable from surrounding natural teeth. Peter Kouvaris, CDT, Oral Design Member, reviews techniques and step-by-step procedures and demonstrates how you can use Straumann CARES CADCAM in your laboratory to create beautiful smiles.
