Complete Dentures seem to be and will probably be for some time, one area that will grow in dental technology for many years to come.

I was a little disappointed to seem not much in the way of dentures in the listed programs this year. Of course the digital denture classes appear to be here. Some of the most successful dentures ever made were made and continue to be made by the hand of skilled technicians with the knowledge and know-how of impression taking, case planning, records, set-up (function) and adjustments.

I must ask.... where are the basics? Where is the training of the fundamentals? We've seemed to have lost touch with what works in dentures and have fallen to the frills of technology; all-the-while, the ever growing need for quality craftsman has gone way-side. And the ever growing group of unhappy denture wearers continues to grow exponentially! If I'm not mistaken, this group of dissatisfied wearers has grown to well over 50%. This shouldn't be and doesn't have to be with the right training/classes/knowledge.
