There’s been a sharp increase in the use of screw-retained prostheses and in their appeal to patients due to the “teeth-in-a-day” approach. Arian Deutsch, DTG, CDT, discusses some of the significant drawbacks of this solution and explores the benefits of a new implant-borne solution that’s gaining popularity and is removable by the patient.
