Technology is continuously evolving in dental device manufacturing. How does the lab owner stay abreast of technology affecting their regulatory obligations? These regulations range from OSHA requirements for worker safety to FDA’s Good Manufacturing Practices and quality system requirements. Gary Morgan, CDT, ASQ/CQA, discusses how merging new technology with regulations can affect your lab’s manufacturing practices ranging from CAD/CAM equipment use to providing chairside services.
