  • Michael Dennin, CDT, Owner, Dennin Dental Arts, Chicago, has been an avid Chicago Cubs fan since childhood. A few years ago, he made this crown for a patient who is also a Cubs fanatic.

  • Pacif ic Dental Arts, Inc. in Olympia, WA, receives about 30 crown tattoo requests per year. The full service lab promotes its tattoo services via direct mail postcards and has received cases from India, Australia, England, Russia, France and Greenland. Patti Deal, General Manager, did both of these tattoos.

  • Crowns by Box, Inc. in Waterloo, IA, has recently seen a significant increase in tattoo requests, now averaging one or two a week. Nate Gainer, Design and Artistic Manager, created “I love April” in honor of a patient’s wife and, for another patient, had creative license to choose the color, placement and species of a flower tattoo.

  • At Wisconsin’s D&S Dental Laboratory, it takes Ceramist Brian Sperry about an hour to create each tattoo.
