Technician Creates Teledental Witz: Dental Technology's First Online Game Show

Teledental Witz, the industry’s first—and only!—online dental technology game show, has all the classic TV game show elements: an engaging announcer, lively music, surprise guests and even a grand prize.

Launched in May on Facebook, Teledental Witz is the brainchild of Marc Dixon, Owner of Decadent Laboratories in Brooklyn, NY, who came up with the idea after he participated in a remote game night with friends during the COVID-19 quarantine.

The show features a variety of question styles, including multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank word puzzles and photo/video clues; Dixon serves as the host and contestants buzz in first to answer using a gaming app on their smartphone or computer. It includes three rounds of play with questions becoming increasingly difficult in each round and worth 100, 200 or 300 points, respectively, as well as a 500-point final question.
