Remembering an Inspirational Bright Light

Welcome to LMT’s Inspiration Issue, a celebration of all that is special about our community and the work you do. Much of the content is based on submissions from readers eager to share stories about their mentors, family members, co-workers and dentist-clients as well as the inherent satisfaction of helping patients and restoring their smiles.

In keeping with our coverage, I’d like to dedicate this page to one inspirational person in particular: Steve Killian, Founder, Spectrum Killian Dental Lab Alliance (SKDLA), Irvine, CA, who passed away last month. Steve was a long-time friend of LMT, openly sharing his wisdom and experiences in the pages of our magazine, on our speaker’s podium and during one-on-one conversations.
He was dedicated to helping our community, serving in various capacities for the NADL, and believed strongly in the value of dental technology education, raising money for scholarships, grants and on-line learning programs as a board member...
