At a time when two-year dental technology programs are at an all-time low, the Department of Restorative Dentistry at New York City College of Technology (NYCCT) is bucking the trend, moving into a brand-new facility and planning for expansion.
In August, the Department of Restorative Dentistry at New York City College of Technology (NYCCT) kicked off its fall semester at a new address: the sixth floor of a recently completed, modern academic building in Brooklyn, NY, that offers sweeping views of the city and the Empire State Building.
Due to design company changes and other delays, the 350,000-square-foot, $400-million-dollar-plus building took over a decade to complete but was worth the wait.
