Keep the Kinks Out

At VividX Lab, employees are entitled to a monthly massage; they can either schedule an outside masseuse to come use the lab’s onsite massage room—outfitted with a professional massage table and relaxing music—or the lab will pay for them to go to the studio of their choice. The lab pays up to $60 a month for each of its six employees, which usually covers a 60-minute massage. 

“We’ve offered paid massages since day one, when we opened the lab in 2003. We started with a 30-minute chair massage and it was so well received that within a few years, we increased it to a one-hour massage and set up the room here at the lab,” says Brian Lindke, Co-Owner of the Buford, GA laboratory. “Based on the nature of our work, this is by far the most appreciated benefit we offer.”
