How to Shade Match Anterior Zirconia Restorations Using the GC Initial System

When my clients and I talk to patients about cosmetic makeovers—especially those patients who want the bright, white Hollywood Smile—we usually discuss doing more than six restorations. In fact, we’ll often show them pictures of celebrities in which their six bleach-white veneers stand out like a sore thumb—something I call the “Forbidden Six.”
However, cosmetic cases that don’t require a shade change are a different story. For example, restoring just the six anterior teeth worked for the patient in this case because she wanted to replace discolored anterior teeth with crowns that matched her natural A1 shade. Here’s the technique I used.
