How to Fabricate a Highly Esthetic Full Denture

The Challenge
Participants in Candulor’s International KunstZahnWerk Competition 2023 had to fabricate a mucosa-supported maxillary and mandibular full denture based on a detailed model analysis. Competitors had the option of using a tooth-to-tooth or tooth-to-two-tooth setup for the dynamic occlusion concept and they received detailed information about the patient’s situation, matching maxillary and mandibular plaster models and the physiognomic bite key. They also received the denture teeth to use in the case: Candulor’s PhysioSelect TCR for the maxilla, shape 674, shade A3; PhysioSelect TCR for the mandible, shape 64, shade A3; and BonSelect TCR for the maxilla and mandible, shape 04, shade A3.
